Message from Region Representative:

Happy New Year to All!

Hard to believe we are ten years into the new millennium. Wasn't it just recently the big concern was Y2K? How time does go by. The last ten years has been full of change. Some good, some not. From the 911 attacks to the heroism and quick thinking of Captain Sullenberger in the plane crash on the Hudson. Change is a constant in our new world like never before. We continue to expect more change as Congress and our President get closer to settling the health care reform act.

I'd like to start with a note of gratitude to all new and renewing members listed below. A special thanks to the Lake Side Chapter of NAHUC for their response to the chapter letters. Their chapter sees active participation by its members by having quarterly meetings that include an educational activity or celebration.

More news to come after the NAHUC Board of Directors meeting February 18 and 19.  We still need region workshop development for all regions? Who is going to be first: region 3, 4 or 6?
