What Happens in Vegas Shouldn't Stay in Vegas.

Hello Regions 3, 4 and 6. I'm quietly sitting at the airport resting from the time and work the NAHUC Board of Directors has put in these last three days. The budget for this quarter and the anticipated amount for the year to come has been completed. The long awaited restructuring plan of your association will be rolled out.  Everyone, please check the April-June issue of  "the Coordinator” for the outline of the changes we'd like to make. The contracts for the next three conferences were reviewed and accepted.  Denver Renaissance is this year's conference destination. With the U.S. Mint to visit, the Mine Train dinner ride and a huge Mall to shop, there will be plenty of activities to choose from after the education sessions. The Loews Lake Las Vegas in Henderson is where the 2011 conference will be held.  Henderson is a little out of the way of the Las Vegas Strip, but it's an absolutely beautiful and refreshing area.  Plans are in place for Cleveland in 2012.

In my January message, I asked who would be the first to have a region workshop.   Region 3 will be the winner of the first 2010 scheduled workshop thanks to Lisa Phillips of the Medical Center of Plano in TX. Their second annual workshop will be held May 14. More information to come as the program develops. So stay tuned to this same channel.

With the help of the NAHUC office (Patty), I believe this new and improved “GREEN” way of saying welcome to NAHUC to new members and thanking renewing members is working out pretty well.
