It is the goal of NAHUC to promote professionalism through certification and education. The Education Board receives requests from all over the country for speakers on various subjects pertaining to the profession of health unit coordinating. It is the Education Board's goal to maintain a list of speakers and their topics related to the certification exam content outline. The NAHUC Speakers List is a list of speakers and the topics on which they present. If you are interested in a presentation topic related to health unit coordinating, contact the NAHUC Education Board. The Education Board can supply you with the speaker's name and contact information. You will then be able to contact the speaker directly and negotiate your request for a speaker's name and contact information. How to Become a Speaker

The Education Board is currently seeking speakers to be part of the NAHUC Speakers List. If you enjoy presenting educational seminars and workshops, please contact the Education Board Director: Linda Winslow.

 Being included in the Speakers List is as easy as 1-2-3:

1.    Submit the following to the Education Board:

        a.    Copy of your current NAHUC membership card

        b.    Your Curriculum Vita

        c.    A list of your presentation topics that coincide with the certification exam content outline.

2.    Upon submission and verification of the stated documentation, you will be asked to sign a release of liability form.

3.    Upon receipt of the signed release form a list of your presentation topics will be posted on this web site.

Once your presentation topics are posted, anyone can look at the topics. If someone is interested in your presentation topics, they will be instructed to contact the NAHUC Education Board. The Education Board will supply the interested party with your name and contact information. The interested party will then be able to contact you directly with their request for a speaker.
